An adult female Red Ear Slider, digging to lay her eggs.
Found at Burnaby Lake in beginning of July 2007, at 2:21
pm. An hour later when we came back, she was gone and
the digging spot was untouched. Probably the ground was
too hard for her to lay the eggs. |
