I was digging in the wood while looking for some beetle
larvae, and stumbled on this silverish-gold colored beetle
which was no more then 1/2 an inch inside of a tree. It
was really strange, as there were no tunnels leading to
it in the first place, so i do not see how it would have
being able to come out of there. Unfortunately, it was
already long dead and halph decomposed from the under
side. I found it some time around March- April/ 06.
