!Important news!.. please read "Terms of Service" regarding Shipping live animals during winter, and other guarantees before ordering from us. If you have extra stock, it is required by law to dispose of it by either: freezing in for at least 48 hours, or microwave for 10 min prior to throwing them into your garbage bin.

We do not sell Phasmids with in Canada nor outside of Canada due to Canadian Food Inspection's regulations. As stated in "Plant Protection Act, 1990, c.22". For protection of Canadian plants and forests these insects are not to be kept as pets unless the person is permitted to do so by Canadian Food Inspection Agency. As stated by one of the agents that had a visit to my place, since Canadian Food Inspection Agency do not have proper research done to know which types of Phasmids and Mantids can be considered as Pests, they stated that all are not allowed to be kept as pets.... In response to that, I hope to do lots of research to go ahead and find out the types of species that should be allowed to keep as pets accordingly to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.... This is a big issue as I may not be able to research all possible species due to the fact that Canadian Food Inspection Agency are confiscating everything from people in USA and Canada. This makes it impossible to study these insects and to ensure their survival for future generations to enjoy and look at like Phasmids and mantids. Will all of the rainforest destruction around the world, we, as people have a dept to these creatures and have to work together in keeping these species from the Extinct List, but at the same time ensuring that the wild life around us does not run into similar problems, such as in the case of a non native specie getting out and impacting the wildlife which can be prevented if your facility is followed by Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s rules and regulations.
